Job Description/Responsibilities



  • Schedule appointments for visa applicants and general practice patients

  • Provide visa applicants with medical screening requirements prior to arrival at the clinic

  • Ensure general practice patients have most recent and relevant medical information before meeting with a nurse/doctor

  • Direct patients/clients to the appropriate departments once at the clinic

  • Liaise with colleagues in other departments such as the laboratory, pharmacist and radiologist for a more accurate billing process

  • Send and respond to emails from clients regarding immigration screening

  • Create codes for blood samples collected from the immigration section

  • Attend to the administrative needs of the clients/applicants and ensure coherence in the flow of their experience in the clinic


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.

  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.

  • Must be able to coordinate and schedule appointments using scheduling programs.

  • Excellent use of Microsoft office and scheduling programs.

  • Must be able to organise and create a schedule with the customer service team.

  • Ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.

  • Display empathy and compassion, especially in sensitive situations.
