Job Description
Our school is looking to recruit a Business Growth Manager. He/She will play a key role in the achievement of our portfolio diversification agenda. The incumbent will be responsible for driving value for the school through profitable management of the Retail/Business Development department.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations Management
- Day-to-day management of the retail business operation.
- Ensuring proper retail management - sourcing, buying, and reporting functions.
- Setting pricing and profit margin using competitive benchmark framework
- Managing the activities of the retail shop executives
Business Development
- Driving growth by sourcing external clients for all the retail categories/items
- Managing supply and logistics of delivering orders to clients, and other services
People Management
- Manage the activities of the Tech officer who will be responsible for managing the retail software, the inventory, collating sales reports & conducting audits as required.
- Manage the activities of the account officer who is responsible for managing the inflow and outflow of inventories, as well as bank reconciliations and preparation of periodic financial statements for the department.
Qualifications
- B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Business Management, or any other social management course
- Have experience in business development, client service management, retail management.
- Highly familiar with the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be entrepreneurial and can work with minimal supervision.
- Must have minimum of 5 years working experience post NYSC.
- Preferably a female
