- An Operation /Sales Officer is responsible for overseeing key supply chain, logistics, and sales functions for our brand & distribution company.
- In this critical role, you will manage relationships with manufacturers and transport partners to ensure smooth end-to-end operations while also leading a sales team to drive growth and achieve targets.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with manufacturing and logistics partners
- Create and maintain efficient operations and supply chain workflows
- Oversee warehouse management, inventory control, fulfillment
- Set and track key supply chain, cost and customer service metrics
- Manage a team of sales professionals focused on brand growth
- Establish and execute on regional sales plans and initiatives
- Track sales activity, revenue, expenses and other KPIs
- Prepare regular operations and sales reports for leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics or relevant field
- 5+ years experience in operations or sales leadership role
- Background in CPG, retail or consumer goods preferred
- Excellent team leadership and communication skills
Skills:
- Expert-level knowledge of supply chain, logistics and distribution
- Highly analytical - able to synthesize data and metrics to improve processes
- Strong negotiating abilities with external partners
- Proficiency in inventory management and warehouse systems
- Expert sales skills including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing
- Highly skilled in training, motivating and leading a sales team
- Proficient in CRM platforms and reporting tools
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and databases.
