Lifting Equipment Inspections: Conduct thorough examinations and inspections of various lifting equipment, including but not limited to cranes, hoists, slings, and rigging gear.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all lifting equipment complies with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and manufacturer specifications.
Documentation and Reporting: Generate detailed inspection reports documenting the condition of the lifting equipment, any deficiencies found, and recommendations for corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of inspections and certifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance teams, operators, and other relevant personnel to address and rectify identified issues promptly.
LEEA Standards Adherence: Stay abreast of updates and changes in Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) standards and ensure all inspections align with the latest industry best practices.
Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to operators and maintenance personnel on proper usage, care, and maintenance of lifting equipment.
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments related to lifting operations and recommend preventive measures to mitigate potential hazards.
Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to discuss inspection findings, provide recommendations, and address any queries related to lifting equipment safety.
Qualifications
LEEA Certification: Hold a valid certification from the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) as a Lifting Equipment Examiner/Inspector.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or relevant vocational training in lifting equipment inspection is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience in conducting inspections of various lifting equipment. Familiarity with a diverse range of industries and lifting equipment types is advantageous.
