Key Responsibilities

• Perform rope access tasks, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs at elevated heights.


• Adhere to strict safety protocols and ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment.


• Conduct pre-job safety assessments and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures.


• Install, inspect, and maintain rope access systems and equipment.


• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute rope access projects efficiently.


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to rope access systems and equipment.


• Document all work activities, including job reports, safety reports, and equipment inspections.


• Maintain a high level of proficiency in rope access techniques and stay informed about industry best practices.


• Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in a related field (e.g., welding, inspection) are a plus.


• Minimum of [7] years of experience as a Rope Access Technician.


• Valid certification from a recognized rope access authority (e.g., SPRAT, IRATA).


• Proficient in various rope access techniques, including ascending, descending, and positioning.


• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to rope access work.


• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights for extended periods.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
