Responsibilities

Crane Operations Oversight:

• Supervise and coordinate crane operations on construction sites.


• Ensure that crane operators follow proper safety procedures and guidelines.


• Monitor equipment to ensure optimal performance and address any operational issues promptly.

API Crane Inspections:

• Conduct regular inspections of cranes in accordance with API standards.


• Identify and report any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.


• Maintain inspection records and documentation for regulatory compliance.

Safety Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment.


• Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for crane operators.


• Investigate and report accidents or incidents related to crane operations.

Team Leadership:

• Provide leadership and guidance to crane operators and rigging crews.


• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.


• Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety procedures.

Maintenance and Repairs:

• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and oversee crane maintenance and repairs.


• Ensure that all equipment is in proper working condition before each operation.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Relevant certifications in crane operation and API crane inspection.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Crane Foreman or similar role.


• API Crane Inspector certification is required.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of API standards related to crane inspections.


• Strong understanding of crane operations and rigging techniques.


• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Safety Focus:

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety standards.

Problem Solving:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
