Responsibilities
Training and Development:
- Design and deliver comprehensive rigging training programs for both new and existing personnel.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions to enhance the practical skills of rigging teams.
- Keep training materials and content up-to-date, incorporating industry best practices and safety guidelines.
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all rigging activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct safety audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide guidance on the proper use and maintenance of rigging equipment.
Coaching and Mentorship:
- Provide individual coaching and mentorship to rigging personnel, focusing on skill enhancement and career development.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging riggers to seek ongoing education and training opportunities.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure rigging operations meet the highest standards.
- Regularly assess the performance of rigging teams and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Generate reports on training outcomes, safety incidents, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in rigging or relevant fields are a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Rigger with a minimum of [6] years in various rigging environments.
- Previous experience in a coaching or training capacity is highly desirable.
Skills:
