Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components of different types of cranes, including overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and jib cranes.


• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems.

Electrical System Diagnostics:

• Identify electrical issues through systematic troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures.


• Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to pinpoint and resolve problems.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.


• Implement safety protocols and practices to minimize workplace accidents and hazards.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and relevant personnel to address and resolve complex electrical issues.


• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and project timelines.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, repairs, and installations.


• Generate reports on equipment status, work performed, and recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

Education:

• Relevant vocational or technical certification in electrical work or a related field.

Experience:

• Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on crane systems.


• Familiarity with various types of cranes, their electrical components, and control systems.

Skills:

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills related to electrical systems.


• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals.


• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in crane operations.

Certifications:

• Electrical license or certification.


• Crane operation and safety certifications are a plus.
