Responsibilities
Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components of different types of cranes, including overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and jib cranes.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems.
Electrical System Diagnostics:
- Identify electrical issues through systematic troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures.
- Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to pinpoint and resolve problems.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and practices to minimize workplace accidents and hazards.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and relevant personnel to address and resolve complex electrical issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and project timelines.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, repairs, and installations.
- Generate reports on equipment status, work performed, and recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
Education:
- Relevant vocational or technical certification in electrical work or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on crane systems.
- Familiarity with various types of cranes, their electrical components, and control systems.
Skills:
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills related to electrical systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in crane operations.
Certifications:
- Electrical license or certification.
- Crane operation and safety certifications are a plus.
