- Collaborate with operations teams to optimize lifting procedures and increase efficiency.
- Conduct performance evaluations on lifting equipment and recommend enhancements or replacements as necessary.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay current on industry regulations and standards related to lifting equipment and operations.
- Ensure that the organization's lifting practices align with local, state, and federal regulations.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks associated with lifting operations and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Investigate incidents or accidents related to lifting equipment, providing detailed reports and recommendations for prevention.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of lifting equipment inspections, maintenance, and operational activities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs for personnel involved in lifting operations.
- Keep the workforce updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on lifting equipment and operations.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in lifting equipment inspection and operation is a plus.
