This is a full-time onsite role for a Business Development Associate located in Ikeja with flexibility for hybrid work after the first three month.
The Business Development Associate is responsible for lead generation, market research, and the development of presentations.
Additionally, the Business Development Associate must have excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers during business negotiations, to represent the company at events and conferences, and to develop sales strategies in collaboration with the rest of the sales team.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written - in English and native languages
Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and any other relevant software programs
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, to manage and prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
Able to quickly learn Microsoft product functionalities and pricing of Microsoft solutions for proper liaising with opportunites
Ability to work effectively with senior managers and executives to pursue the marketing strategies and revenue drive of the organization
Ability to create an engaging and effect presentation
Experience in market research, sales strategy development, and negotiation
Able to quickly generate documents that are presentable and customer ready. This ranges from product documentations, proposals, presentations, and contracts.
Ability to identify business opportunities, nurture and then turn these opportunities into business deals.
Collaborating with internal teams, including technical support, marketing, and business analysts, to ensure cohesive and effective client interactions
Quickly familiarize with our in-house billing tools and systems in-order to share invoices and other sales documents accordingly
Ability to analyze business situations and to provide value-added solutions that positively impact the organization and clients
Experience in the IT industry, business consulting, or professional services is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science or any other relevant field with a minimum of Second Class Upper or Higher credit is preferred.
1-3 years of cognate work experience as a Business Development Associate or in a similar will be mostly preferred.
