Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Hydraulic System Design and Optimization:
- Develop and design hydraulic systems based on project requirements.
- Optimize existing hydraulic systems for improved efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate hydraulic components into overall system designs.
Installation and Commissioning:
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems.
- Conduct tests to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation.
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform routine maintenance on hydraulic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of hydraulic system designs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare reports detailing system performance, issues, and recommended improvements.
Training and Support:
- Provide training to maintenance personnel on proper hydraulic system operation and maintenance procedures.
- Offer technical support to internal teams and external partners as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Hydraulic Specialist or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of hydraulic modeling software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in hydraulic system design and maintenance are desirable.
