This is a full-time on-site role in Lagos for a Pastry Chef.
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of preparing and baking pastries, desserts, and bread.
They will also be responsible for creating new recipes and adapting existing ones to meet customer needs.
The Pastry Chef will need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and ensure that all pastries meet the company's quality and presentation standards.
Qualifications
Bakery, Baking, and Culinary Skills
Experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in a bakery or pastry kitchen
Ability to create and adapt recipes
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Certification or degree in Baking and Pastry Arts or related field
Experience working with international pastry and dessert recipes is a plus
