Role Description



  • This is a full-time on-site role in Lagos for a Pastry Chef.

  • The Pastry Chef will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of preparing and baking pastries, desserts, and bread.

  • They will also be responsible for creating new recipes and adapting existing ones to meet customer needs.

  • The Pastry Chef will need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and ensure that all pastries meet the company's quality and presentation standards.


Qualifications



  • Bakery, Baking, and Culinary Skills

  • Experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in a bakery or pastry kitchen

  • Ability to create and adapt recipes

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Certification or degree in Baking and Pastry Arts or related field

  • Experience working with international pastry and dessert recipes is a plus
