Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated cyber-security professional to join our team and contribute to training our growing list of cyber-security students.


• This position is responsible for teaching Cyber Security and related courses face-to-face (on-site) and/or online as available and assigned in accordance with course competencies and syllabus


• As a Cybersecurity tutor, you will be responsible for training & helping students to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of cybersecurity (both on-site & virtual)


• You will contribute to the development and implementation of the curriculum for the course, as well as practical projects to enhance speedy learning.


• Develop and/or update course syllabus.


• Prepare and deliver course materials and learning assessments in assigned format


• Utilize the Collaboration Software tools as the course support platform in face-to-face courses and as the delivery platform in online and hybrid courses


• Employ culturally competent teaching methodologies in the classroom inclusive of both domestic and international student populations


• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in networking and cybersecurity.

Requirements

• OND, HND or BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or any related field.


• 3+ years industry experience in cybersecurity OR 1+years experience teaching in cyber security


• Expert knowledge of all aspects of Cyber-Security.


• Available for a hybrid work setting (3 times a week)


• Experience designing curriculum and measuring student performance


• Ability to work under limited supervision


• Candidates must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology


• Highly effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey conceptual and complex ideas and information


• Excellent inter-personal & Time Management Skills


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
