Conduct real-time monitoring of financial transactions to identify and investigate irregularities or suspicious financial activities.

Stay updated on regulatory standards and industry best practices related to transaction monitoring and financial reconciliation.
Generate detailed reports on transaction monitoring findings, reconciliation outcomes providing insights and recommendation for finance, audit & management review.
Implement preventive measures to address potential discrepancies proactively and improve financial accuracy.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of transaction monitoring activities for audit and reporting purposes.
Collaborate with other departments, such as audit & internal control and engineering to address identified issues and implement solutions.
Continuously assess and improve transaction monitoring and reconciliation processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
3+ years of proven experience as a financial reconciliation & transaction monitoring role in a financial institution/ FinTech.
In-depth knowledge of financial reconciliation processes and transaction monitoring best practices.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Google Suite.
Proficiency in using Financial software and reconciliation tools is an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the financial industry.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting findings.
Problem-solving abilities to identify, investigate and resolve complex reconciliation and discrepancies in financial transactions issues.
