• This is a full-time, on-site role located in VI, Lagos.


• The Fiber Optic Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fiber optic systems for telecommunications, data transmission, and internet services.


• Responsibilities will include conducting site surveys, planning network topology, installing and splicing fiber optic cables, conducting testing and commissioning to ensure optimum performance of systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field


• 2+ years in a similar role


• Knowledge of the design, installation, and maintenance of fiber optic systems


• Knowledge of fiber optic testing and commissioning standards and procedures


• Proficiency in fiber optic splicing, termination, and connectorization


• Ability to read and interpret fiber optic network diagrams and blueprints


• Knowledge of fiber optic cables, connectors, and infrastructure components


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
