Job Description

• We are seeking to recruit a Group Head of Information Technology to drive operational excellence and strategic growth aspirations in line with its corporate vision.


• The Group Head I.T is to provide leadership, vision, and management to the Group’s Information Technology team.


• He/she is also responsible for the creation, maintenance, and administration of all Information Technology policies. 


• He/She is responsible for assessing Group's technological needs, and designing, and implementing strategies to meet them.

Key Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enforce IT policies in alignment with Group’s vision.


• Design and implement processes to realize the IT Objectives.


• Responsible for the overall design of the Group’s Information Systems Networks, Services, and Solutions.


• Ensures that all information systems operate in compliance with internal and legal requirements


• Responsible for service strategies and design


• Lead the design of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery programs and strategies


• Responsible for the safety of Group Information Assets


• Lead Enterprise Security Activities


• Lead Research and Development Activities


• Responsible for IT Department financial planning and budgeting.


• Propose improvement of Infrastructure system with respect to reliability, performance, and users’ demand, evaluate and escalate to management potential solutions to enhance and optimize resources.


• Lead Project Management activities for a critical company’s IT project.

Accountabilities

• Ensure IT Services and systems are delivered in a consistent, reliable, and safe manner.


• Ensure the Safety of corporate information Asset


• Ensure Annual publication of IT Usage Policy


• Ensure Annual publication of IT Process document


• Ensure Annual publication of IT Service Management SOP.


• Ensure implementation of Data Warehousing and Data Mining.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Communication Engineering


• B.Sc Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science


• Must have at least 15 years experience.

Skills include:

• Cisco Routers Installation and Configuration


• Structured Cabling Systems Design and implementation


• Microwave Radio Communications Systems Design and Implementation


• Network Security


• Electronic Access Control Systems Design


• Microsoft Servers Platform (Expert in Microsoft Active Directory, Domain Controllers and Exchange)


• Project Management


• IT Management


• Knowledge of Complex Network Systems Architecture.
