Role Description

• We are sourcing for an Inventory/Warehouse assistant.


• He will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management system, organizing warehouse storage space, managing stock levels performing regular stock checks, and ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of orders.


• In addition, the Officer will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area


• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods


• Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy


• Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse Status


• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or adjust existing work procedures and practices


• Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods received and goods dispatched including labeling of all stock items


• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods


• Ensure that workings are in compliance with HSE&Q standards and policy

Qualifications

• OND/HND or a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or a related field


• Minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in inventory and warehouse management


• Knowledge of warehouse safety, sanitation, and security practices and procedures


• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency


• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
