Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role as Chief Billing Officer located in Lagos.


• As the Chief Billing Officer, you will be responsible for supervising the billing department, maintaining accurate records of patient billing, and ensuring timely collections of payments from patients.


• You will also oversee compliance with healthcare regulations, work with insurance companies to negotiate contracts, and analyze revenue trends to optimize billing processes and collections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields


• Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical billing and collection processes.


• Strong knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.


• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively


• Ability to analyze revenue trends and optimize billing processes and collections


• Experience in healthcare negotiations with insurance companies, government agency


• Strong computer skills in billing software, electronic health records.
