Description 

Patient Care:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Helping patients with mobility and positioning, ensuring their comfort and safety.


• Feeding and providing assistance with nutritional needs.

Vital Signs Monitoring:

• Taking and recording vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiratory rate.

Observation and Reporting:

• Observing and reporting any changes in the patient's condition or behavior to the nursing staff.


• Documenting patient information accurately and timely.

Mobility Assistance:

• Assisting patients in ambulation and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment to prevent injuries.

Supporting Nursing Procedures:

• Assisting nurses with various medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.

Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment:

• Keeping patient rooms and common areas clean and organized.


• Following infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.

Patient Interaction:

• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.


• Communicating effectively with patients and their families.

Equipment Handling:

• Properly using and maintaining medical equipment.


• Assisting in the setup and use of specialized equipment as needed.

Collaboration with Healthcare Team:

• Collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Continuing Education:

• Participating in training and educational programs to enhance skills and stay updated on healthcare practices.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures:

• Following established policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain a high standard of care and ensure patient safety.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1 year work experience.
