Job Overview



  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SME Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the financial health of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

  • The SME Officer will be responsible for financial analysis, relationship management, and providing strategic guidance to our SME clients.


Responsibilities



  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for SME clients, including cash flow projections, risk assessments, and profitability analysis.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, acting as a primary point of contact for their financial needs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored financial solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by SME clients.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to optimize SME clients' financial performance.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting SMEs to provide proactive and relevant advice.

  • Evaluate creditworthiness and assess loan applications from SME clients, ensuring adherence to risk management guidelines.

  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of assigned SME portfolios, identifying areas for improvement and growth.

  • Provide ongoing financial education and support to SME clients, helping them make informed business decisions.

  • Prepare and present financial reports, recommendations, and insights to internal stakeholders and SME clients.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the overall success of the SME business segment.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably with a focus on SMEs.

  • Strong understanding of small and medium-sized enterprise operations and financial challenges.

  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.

  • Ability to assess and mitigate financial risks.

  • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools.
