Job Description



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on private jets in accordance with manufacturer specification and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure aircraft safety and  airworthiness.

  • Ensure compliance with NCAA and other relevant aviation authority regulations, manufacture requirements and company standards.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical and avionics issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

  • Collaborate with other departments, including flight dispatch, operations, quality, and safety to optimize availability and reliability.

  • Manage inventory, procurement and the use of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

  • Develop reports of key performance indices to project aircraft availability and project budgets.

  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and part replacements, accurately and in compliance with regulations.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies and regulatory changes related to private jet maintenance.

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure timely documentation.


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Minimum of 5-10years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance 

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, avionics and troubleshooting procedures

  • Strong knowledge of NCAA regulations and industry standards related to aircraft maintenance.

  • Proficient knowledge of various private jet models, their systems, and avionics.

  • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and safety protocols in the aviation industry.

  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality  standards.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance

  • Must be willing to travel as required and work flexible hours based on operational needs.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, or related field

  • FAA/EASA certification as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or equivalent license

  • Substantial work experience with challenger and Lear Jet models
