Responsibilities and Requirements
- Ensure invoices are validated to avoid duplicated entry into the accounting system.
- Prepares monthly cost report with variance analysis to help management and technical staff manage their budgets /costs
- Timely preparation of management accounts and other financial reports
- Maintenance of financial and accounting transactions/records
- Liaising with appropriate regulatory authorities or agencies
- Compute Taxes
- Implementation of new financial systems or maintenance of current procedures.
Requirements
- First Degree in Accounting from a reputable institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas accounting function
- Professional Accounting certification (ICAN or ACCA) is required
