BUDGET: 150,000 NET
The Business Development officer will be responsible for spearheading the growth strategy of the company, identifying, and securing new business opportunities, and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in sales and business development within the consulting industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
- Identify and prospect potential clients through market research, networking, and targeted outreach efforts.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with the consulting team to tailor solutions that meet client needs and address specific challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the consulting industry, bank, or any other industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and acquiring new clients.
- Strong understanding of consulting services, market dynamics, and client needs within the industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
