Job Summary
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting Full-Time Pharmacist in medication preparation, inventory management, and other assigned tasks.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Assisting licensed pharmacists with dispensing medications.
- Verifying prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
- Counseling patients on medication usage and potential side effects.
- Maintaining pharmacy records and inventory.
- Compounding medications as required.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- Adhering to legal and ethical pharmacy standards.
- Keeping up to date with pharmaceutical knowledge.
- Ensuring the safe storage and handling of medications.
- Providing excellent customer service.
Education and Experience
- Intern Pharmacist must have completed a Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent Pharmacy accredited institution.
- Intern Pharmacist need to obtain the necessary licenses or registrations required by their specific jurisdiction or country pharmacy board.
- Intern Pharmacists often work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist while gaining practical experience.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- You need to have a Degree in Pharmacy, such as a Bachelor of Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- You need to be licensed as an intern Pharmacist.
