Job Description

• We are is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for joining metals and other materials using various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.


• They will also be responsible for preparing surfaces for welding, cutting materials, and performing inspections to ensure quality welds.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.


• Set up and operate welding equipment,including MIG,TIG,and stick welding machines.


• Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning,grinding,and deburring.


• Select the appropriate welding process and filler materials for the job.


• Weld metals and other materials to precise specifications.


• Cut materials using a variety of tools,such as oxy-fuel torches and plasma cutters.


• Inspect welds for quality and defects.


• Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.


• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.


• Work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Minimum of 2 years of welding experience.


• Experience with MIG,TIG,and stick welding is required.


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.


• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
