Job Description

• Our company is looking for a Driver for the CEO of our company.


• You must have worked as a Corporate Driver and have good communication skill, be able to know the road network in Lagos.


• We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record of safe, skillful driving.


• The ideal candidate will enjoy being behind the wheel, seeing new places, and meeting new people.

Objectives of this Role

• Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations


• Maintain a clean and operational vehicle


• Represent the company positively and professionally in interactions with customers and the general public


• Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and the most efficient routes.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation


• Use navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes


• Assist with regular vehicle inspections, arranging maintenance when necessary


• Refuel vehicles and ensure they’re always ready for use.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND qualification with 3 - 7 years relevant work experience.


• Valid driver’s license


• Clean driving record for at least threeyear


• Strong commitment to safety


• Excellent navigational skills


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Must always be avaliable.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license


• Experience driving in a professional capacity


• Experience using GPS technology


• Excellent time management and organizational skills


• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance


• Familiarity with the local area.


• Must live on the Island.

Do’s and Don’t:

• You shall not drive under the influence of alcohol, or any intoxicant


• You must out on your seat belt and ensure that your passengers do so too


• You must not make or answer phone calls while driving.
