- This position involves handling and maintaining laundry equipment, ensuring proper garment cleaning procedures, and collaborating with other departments to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly inspect garments for stains, damages, or special care requirements. Sort garments based on color, fabric type, and cleaning specifications.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Adhere to specific cleaning instructions provided by customers and the Quality Control department. Apply appropriate stain removal techniques based on garment type and stain characteristics.
- Obtain customer consent for any additional cleaning processes or treatments beyond standard procedures. Work closely with the Quality Control department to address and rectify any issues identified during the garment inspection process.
- Conduct routine maintenance on laundry equipment to prevent breakdowns. Report any equipment malfunctions promptly and collaborate with maintenance personnel for repairs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- SSCE certificate or equivalent. Proven experience as a laundry technician.
- Knowledge of garment cleaning techniques, stain removal, and laundry equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
