Job Summary



  • Ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades, including confirmation of executed trades, reconciliation of positions, and resolution of trade discrepancies.

  • Handle the opening, maintenance, and closure of client accounts. Verify and update client information, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and reporting requirements. Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact the firm's operations.

  • Assist in monitoring and managing risk exposure by implementing risk management protocols, setting trading limits, and collaborating with other departments to ensure risk mitigation strategies are in place.

  • Oversee the processing of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers. Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client transactions, account information, and other relevant documentation. Facilitate audits and regulatory examinations by providing necessary records.

  • Respond to client inquiries and issues related to back-office functions, such as account statements, transaction history, and account verification. Collaborate with the customer support team to address client concerns effectively.

  • Generate and distribute regular reports on trading activity, account balances, and other relevant metrics to internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the smooth operation of back-office systems and resolve any technical issues that may arise. Test and implement updates to back-office software.

  • Work closely with other departments, including compliance, risk management, front-office operations, and IT, to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the organization.

  • Reconcile financial transactions and accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and collaborate with finance teams as needed.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the back-office operations to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline workflows.

  • Provide training and support to back-office staff to ensure they are well-versed in company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement and monitor security measures to prevent fraud and unauthorized access to client accounts and sensitive information.

  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information. Ensure that audit recommendations are addressed and implemented.


Requirements




  • BSC degree in Accounting, marketing and other relevant courses with 3 - 5 relevant work experience.
