About the Role



  • This is a full-time on-site role for two Recovery Officers; 1 in Kano and 1 in Delta.

  • The Recovery Officer will be join the recovery team in their debt recovery efforts and ensuring that all outstanding debts are collected on behalf of the company.

  • The Recovery Officer will need to work with customers to create payment plans in order to help customers meet their obligations, while also investigating and resolving any disputes.


Job Description



  • Oversee financial transaction processing and reconciliation while maintaining accuracy of all book keeping function

  • Managing the financial accounting reporting systems for the organization. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgetary controls and forecast, expenditure controls, financial plans and all monthly data submission

  • Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable

  • Oversee Depot Accountant work and guide all depot financial and accounts operational requirements

  • Oversee the invoicing and warehouse day-to-day activities and ensure that all available products on order of distributors are invoiced before sales ledger closed every month/period

  • Make necessary recommendations on required updates to the financial operational processes/SOP

  • Keep proper records of all vendor transactions, payment vouchers, expenditure tickets as well as historic financial and accounts records for ease of assess from archive


KPI’s



  • Checking arithmetic accuracy on bin card to check mate error.

  • Filling of processed (Invoices and Payment Voucher)

  • Monitoring the minimum reorder level of all

  • Ensuring timely report of expired and shortdated products

  • Prepare inventory reconciliation

  • Short-dated product verification and reporting

  • Book-keeping and inventory reconciliation


Qualifications



  • Must possess a minimum of HND/BSc. in Accounting

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working as Recovery Officer

  • Sound knowledge of the use of Spreadsheet and Microsoft Excel

  • Previous experience in healthcare retail or manufacturing sector in an added advantage


Person Specification



  • Possess strong reporting skills

  • Should have good interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
