Job Summary

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:



  • Oversee day-to-day supermarket operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to company standards.

  • Develop and implement effective operational policies and procedures to optimize workflow.


Team Management:



  • Recruit, train, and supervise supermarket staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

  • Implement effective communication strategies to ensure a well-informed and motivated workforce.


Customer Service:



  • Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring exceptional service standards are met.

Inventory and Merchandising:



  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of products and minimizing waste.

  • Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing, promotions, and optimize product selection.

  • Implement attractive and effective merchandising displays to drive sales.


Financial Management:



  • Develop and manage budgets, controlling expenses and maximizing profitability.

  • Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.

  • Ensure accurate cash handling and financial reporting.


Compliance and Safety:



  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supermarket or retail management.


Qualifications:
