  1. Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

    • Drive continuous improvements in supply chain processes for Hardware Procurement and Services Procurement.



  2. Vendor Management:

    • Establish and maintain solid relationships with key IT equipment distributors.

    • Own and manage vendor contracts for Netcom/Netfinity, ensuring favorable terms.



  3. Collaboration and Negotiation:

    • Act as the Supply Chain focal point, collaborating with Heads of Technology & Innovation and Operations.

    • Lead sensitive negotiations and liaise with external stakeholders on critical projects.



  4. Contract Management:

    • Oversee the end-to-end contract management process, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.

    • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to optimize contract terms.



  5. Supplier Evaluation and Re-evaluation:

    • Establish, organize, and maintain a robust process for evaluating and re-evaluating major suppliers.

    • Ensure supplier performance aligns with quality and cost competitiveness criteria.



  6. Asset Management:

    • Maintain an overview of records of equipment orders and deliveries.

    • Ensure proper reconciliation of company assets within and outside Lagos.



  7. Internal Control and Continuous Improvement:

    • Overview of processes to ensure internal control over Logistics, Procurement, and Inventory.

    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain function.



  8. ERP System Compliance:

    • Ensure accurate registration of purchasing costs in the ERP system.

    • Align purchasing processes with the Company's internal accounting procedures.




Requirements



  • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience (typically 7-10 years) in progressively responsible roles within supply chain management, with a focus on procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations.

  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, demonstrating the ability to plan, direct, and evaluate supply chain processes and teams.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Internet services and managed IT services industry is preferred.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in supply chain management or related fields are a plus (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional - CSCP).
