Job Description



Summary



  • Compounding Operators must have a deep understanding of the equipment they are responsible for including the right settings for each piece of equipment.

  • They are responsible for optimum operation of the equipment as needed in a safe manner.


Responsibilities



  • Optimal running of the compounding equipment by understanding and complying with all department SOPs.

  • To ensure the availability of raw material in coordination with the Weighing operator, to satisfy the production plan.

  • Responsible for compounding emulsions of different variants and other products as needed.

  • Responsible for mixing/compounding with correct weighed raw materials in alignment with the Weighing sheet and IWI.

  • Ensure adherence to operational checklists, working instructions and equipment standard operating procedures.

  • Adhere strictly to the right process order and maintained proper documentation all time.

  • Ensure proper sanitization of manufacturing equipment before the compounding process starts.

  • Responsible to ensure zero RM and bulk losses.

  • Ensure adherence to the AM schedule of mixing equipments.

  • Ensure good teamwork across the production team.


Requirements



  • Minimum of a Second Class Lower in BSc / HND Sciences and Engineering (Electrical / Electronics, / Mechatronics / Production and Chemical engineering) is preferred.

  • 1-3 Years of relevant work experience in FMCG /cosmetics Industries.

  • Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage (materials requisition).

  • Knowledge in dealing with Manufacturing Excellence tools

  • Ability to take on technical projects

  • Good knowledge of process flow diagrams.

  • Good knowledge of SCADA systems (HMI
