Job Description

• Run load bank tests on diesel, natural gas and propane generator.


• Diagnose and repair any issues found during initial testing


• Perform voltage changes on generators based on customer requirements


• Repair equipment or appliances


• Identify and report the need for major repairs


• Perform maintenance and light repairs


• Undertake light installations or carpenting


• Perform other functions as may be assigned by line-head


• Intervene in any important and urgent issues as required


• Keep and update records of any maintenance carried out.

Requirements

• Minimum of NABTEB, SSCE or OND


• Minimum of 3 - 5 years ofexperience in generator installation and maintenance practices especially with a Facility Management Firm


• Trade Test 1 to 3 certificate is required


• Basic electrical, mechanical, thermal and hydraulic principles and practices.


• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair diesel or gas engines


• Must have good knowledge of HSE


• Good Documentation Skills i.e Report, Duty note


• Good Communications and Interpersonal Skills


• Good Customer Service Orientation
