Job Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Processing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the processing of spices from raw materials to finished products, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Production Oversight:

• Manage the entire spice processing production line from receiving raw materials to packaging finished products.


• Ensure efficient and cost-effective production processes while maintaining high-quality standards.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and monitor quality control measures to guarantee the consistency and excellence of processed spice products.


• Conduct regular inspections and testing to meet regulatory and internal quality standards.

Process Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.


• Collaborate with relevant teams to streamline production workflows.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.


• Implement strategies to minimize waste and manage inventory turnover effectively.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay updated on food safety regulations and industry standards.


• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to food processing.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and lead a team of processing staff, providing training and guidance as needed.


• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Sales and Merchandizing:

• Responsible for the packaging, marketing, and sales of the products.


• Promoting the products through various mediums to boost sales turnover.


• Creating online awareness for the products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  
  Must have 2-5 years experience


• Proven experience in food processing, with a focus on spices or similar products.


• Proven experience in sales and merchandizing of similar products (both online and physical).


• Knowledge of spice processing techniques, equipment, and industry best practices.


• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and food safety regulations.


• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.


• Leadership and team management experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with HACCP principles and other food safety management systems.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
