Responsibilities



  • As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our food products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of optimizing production processes.


Key Responsibilities

Production Planning and Scheduling:



  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resources.

  • Collaborate with the planning team to forecast production requirements and ensure timely delivery.


Quality Control:



  • Establish and enforce strict quality control measures throughout the production process.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.


Team Leadership:



  • Lead, mentor, and motivate production teams to achieve operational excellence.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.


Process Optimization:



  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.

  • Work closely with the engineering team to maintain and upgrade production equipment.


Inventory Management:



  • Oversee inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.

  • Implement effective inventory control measures to optimize stock turnover.


Compliance and Safety:



  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.


Cost Management:



  • Monitor and control production costs to achieve budgetary targets.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.


Collaboration:



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure seamless production processes.

  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment upkeep and repairs.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in the Food retail and manufacturing industry

  • Proven experience in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
