Job Summary



  • The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and the achievement of organizational goals.

  • The Operations Manager will lead a team, implement process improvements, and contribute to the strategic growth of the company.


Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:



  • Provide effective leadership to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.


Process Optimization:



  • Analyze current operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Implement best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase overall operational effectiveness.


Team Management:



  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing operations team.

  • Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and mentoring to team members.


Budget Management:



  • Collaborate with finance and executive teams to develop and manage operational budgets.

  • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.


Supply Chain Management:



  • Oversee the procurement and inventory management processes to maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.


Quality Assurance:



  • Establish and monitor quality control standards to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address quality issues.


Strategic Planning:



  • Collaborate with senior management to contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans.

  • Provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements that align with organizational objectives.


Risk Management:



  • Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential challenges.

  • Implement contingency plans to ensure business continuity in the face of unexpected disruptions.


Performance Metrics:



  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on the effectiveness of operational processes.

  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.


Communication and Collaboration:



  • Foster open communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure effective communication of operational goals, changes, and updates to all relevant stakeholders.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience of 1 year in operations management.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
