Job Summary



  • Our client is currently seeking an enthusiastic Early Years to inspire and nurture our youngest learners.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment, fostering positive relationships, and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.


Key Responsibilities



  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the EYFS curriculum, incorporating a variety of teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of young children.

  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organized classroom environment that promotes active learning and exploration.

  • Assessment and Reporting: Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and colleagues. Contribute to written reports and parent-teacher conferences.

  • Child Development: Foster the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child, creating a foundation for future learning success.

  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to create a supportive and communicative learning community.

  • Parental Engagement: Actively engage with parents to ensure their involvement in their child's education and well-being, organizing events and activities to strengthen the home-school partnership.

  • Professional Development: Stay abreast of best practices in early childhood education, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.


Qualifications



  • A Degree in a related field; a postgraduate degree and teaching qualification (PGDE or equivalent) is desirable.

  • Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) or equivalent certification.

  • Proven experience teaching at the early years level.

  • Familiarity with the British EYFS National Curriculum.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
