Our client is currently seeking an enthusiastic Early Years to inspire and nurture our youngest learners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment, fostering positive relationships, and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the EYFS curriculum, incorporating a variety of teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of young children.
Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organized classroom environment that promotes active learning and exploration.
Assessment and Reporting: Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and colleagues. Contribute to written reports and parent-teacher conferences.
Child Development: Foster the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child, creating a foundation for future learning success.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to create a supportive and communicative learning community.
Parental Engagement: Actively engage with parents to ensure their involvement in their child's education and well-being, organizing events and activities to strengthen the home-school partnership.
Professional Development: Stay abreast of best practices in early childhood education, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
A Degree in a related field; a postgraduate degree and teaching qualification (PGDE or equivalent) is desirable.
Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience teaching at the early years level.
Familiarity with the British EYFS National Curriculum.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
