Job Summary

The role of the Frontend Engineer, Nigeria, is a fully remote position within LemFi’s Engineering team. In this role you will work with a remote cross-functional team that is responsible for developing and implementing user interfaces and components for our web-based applications. This role involves collaborating with other team members, including designers and backend developers, to create seamless and visually appealing user experiences.

Responsibilities Are As Follows

• Craft cutting-edge, user-centric interfaces that contribute to LemFi's mission of redefining financial technology.


• Collaborate closely with LemFi's UX/UI designers to implement visually compelling and intuitive features for our platforms both internal and customer facing.


• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue).


• Seamlessly integrate frontend components with LemFi's robust backend infrastructure, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.


• Engage collaboratively with LemFi's backend developers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver comprehensive solutions for our customers.


• Be an active participant in LemFi's remote team meetings, contributing insights and advancements in financial technology.


• Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks, ensuring LemFi's web applications operate at peak efficiency.


• Conduct rigorous testing of frontend components.


• Swiftly debug and troubleshoot issues reported by users or LemFi's internal teams to maintain a flawless user experience.


• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring agile testing and deployment processes.


• Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in financial technology.


• Propose and implement innovative solutions that advance LemFi's position as a trailblazer in fintech.


• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for frontend code, APIs, and processes specific to LemFi's financial technology platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer in the fintech domain or a related field.


• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and familiarity with popular frontend frameworks, eg Vue, React .


• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools.


• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.


• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a passion for financial technology.


• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
