Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurance applications to evaluate the level of risk involved.


• Assess factors such as the applicant's health, financial status, and lifestyle to determine insurability.


• Review insurance policies to ensure accuracy and completeness.


• Verify that policy applications comply with underwriting guidelines and regulations.


• Utilize statistical models and data analysis to assess risk and make informed decisions.


• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in underwriting standards.


• Maintain accurate and detailed records of underwriting decisions and supporting documentation.


• Prepare reports on underwriting activities and present findings to management.


• Monitor policy renewals and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in underwriting.
