Job Objective

• This opening is for results-driven and strategically minded professional with a proven track record in optimizing operational efficiency and driving growth within the logistics sector.


• Must have extensive experience in managing end-to-end 3PL operations, implementing innovative solutions, and leading high-performance teams to enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall transportation operations.


• Review areas in logistics operations where technology can enhance processes.


• Take the lead in the daily planning and execution of operations.


• Manage the day-to-day issues of transporters on our system.


• Define and maintain Operational Level Agreements OLAs with relevant stakeholders


• Proactively improve a seamless client experience.


• Build a culture of business process improvements that extend beyond project life cycles.


• Connect with clients and potential customers to help close key deals by growing a diverse customer base with consistently growing and predictable volumes.


• Collaborate with senior management to develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of service profit and growth and use key performance indicators to drive and quantify cost optimization while maintaining customer quality and service.


• Take lead in debt recovery and current receivables by ensuring timely invoicing.


• Take the lead in driving customer and transporter adoption of all our tech tools.


• Ensure all our partners undergo a robust onboarding process


• Communicate key messages resulting from operations data analysis to key stakeholders.


• Review effectiveness of risk management plan and resources for transport execution.

We are looking for:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree


• 5 – 8 years’ experience in a senior operational position in a fast-paced logistics company focused on trucking


• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Operations Manager in a logistics companies & operations business


• Executive presence, business acumen and presentation skills


• Must be a confident and analytical leader with a high level of emotional intelligence.


• Ability to make decisions quickly yet thoroughly using data.


• Experience managing a large team with a proven record of achieving result.
