POSITION SUMMARY:

• The Locum Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.


• The ideal candidate should have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different pharmacy settings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately interpret and dispense medications based on prescription orders.


• Provide clear and concise instructions to patients on medication use.


• Conduct patient consultations to understand medical histories and medication needs.


• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and health-related issues.


• Monitor medication inventories and order supplies as needed.


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions and patient information.


• Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing.


• Participate in regular pharmacy audits and inspections.


• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.


• Build positive relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders.


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote interdisciplinary care.


• Work closely with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations.

KEY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.


• Valid pharmacy license.


• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical care.
