- An Area Sales Manager is responsible for the overall sales performancein a geographical location. This position requires exceptional analytical, problem-solving and customer service skills.
- A qualified candidate shall be responsible for developmentofan overall business plan, including sales strategies and profit goals.
Responsibilities
- Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve sales and profit goals by leading, developing, and motivating Team members.
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans to drive sales and profit
- Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
- Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customersin order to improve customer retention rate.
- Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Management, or related course of study.
- 5-7years experience in the same role
- Adequate selling and negotiation skill
