Job Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and talented Videographer fluent in both Hausa and English to join our team. As a videographer proficient in Hausa and English, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage, conducting interviews, and producing compelling video content that resonates with our Hausa-speaking audience.


• Your expertise in videography and proficiency in both languages will play a vital role in effectively communicating our brand message and engaging our target audience.

Responsibilities

Please note that this is not a freelance position:

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content in accordance with project requirements and creative briefs.


• Conduct interviews and record audio in both English and Hausa to capture authentic and compelling stories.


• Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices.


• Ensure proper framing, composition, lighting, and audio levels to achieve high-quality video footage.


• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.


• Stay updated with the latest videography techniques, equipment, and industry trends.


• Edit video footage using industry-standard software to produce final deliverables.


• Incorporate graphics, effects, and animations to enhance the visual appeal of videos.


• Manage video files, maintain an organized library, and ensure data backups for future reference.


• Collaborate with other team members, such as editors and producers, to ensure cohesive and consistent video content.


• Adhere to project timelines and meet deadlines set by the production schedule.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND qualification.


• Proven experience as a videographer, demonstrating a strong portfolio of video projects.


• Fluency in the Hausa language, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Proficiency in operating video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices.


• Strong knowledge of videography techniques, such as framing, composition, and lighting.


• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.


• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for video content.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple projects simultaneously.


• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality video production.


• Excellent time management and organizational skills.


• Flexibility to travel to different locations for video shoots, as required.
