Responsibilities



  • As the Fleet Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our transportation fleet.

  • Fleet Optimization: Strategically manage and optimize the company's fleet to ensure cost-effectiveness and maximum utilization.

  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance vehicle performance.

  • Compliance Management: Ensure fleet operations comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of drivers, mechanics, and support staff to achieve operational excellence.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve fleet performance.

  • Vehicle Acquisition: Participate in the strategic planning and procurement of new vehicles based on operational needs.

  • Budget Oversight: Manage the fleet budget, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

  • Technology Integration: Explore and implement innovative technologies to enhance fleet management processes.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related field with at least 5 years experience.

  • Proven experience as a Fleet Manager in the logistics or transportation industry.

  • Strong understanding of fleet operations, maintenance, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions.

  • Familiarity with telematics and fleet management software.
