Responsibilities



  • Quarterly and annual sales forecasts. Prepare sales forecast and expenses for the branch.

  • Consider competition, industry trends and economic indicators as it affects the branch sales activities.

  • Discuss estimates with the line Manager. Before finalizing the targets for a particular period, branch sales manager is to review with the line manager to ensure the goals are achievable and appropriate.

  • Meet with the sales representatives. He/She is to develop and implement plan to ensure the sales team achieves their monthly and quarterly sales targets for the branch. Hire, monitor, train and coach sales representatives.

  • The BSM will initiate and ensure that each sales staff in the branch has proper training to make sure they meet their sales targets.

  • Understand and stay updated about local, state and federal legislation. Changes in legal policies may affect performance, so branch sales manager must stay up-to-date in order to ensure that the company complies with these laws.

  • Analyze customer satisfaction reports. The BSM must understand customer experiences and make regular recommendations to improve customer service and retention.

  • Build relationships. For the Branch Sales Manager Oregun to increase sales and maintain a professional network, he/she must possess networking skills to interact with customers, attend exhibitions and events relevant to the business and products.


Requirements



  • Must have a minimum B.Sc / HND in Marketing

  • Must have at least 3-4 years of experience in Business Development in a construction/engineering company

  • Preferred candidate should have a professional certification

  • Excellent verbal and visual Sales and Marketing reporting skills.
