Role Description



  • We are currently seeking to employ a Procurement Officer to join our Commercial, Procurement - Project office team at OSEP Energy. This role is pivotal in providing procurement and sourcing support to the business, with a specific focus on contributing to the core claims business area.

  • The successful candidate will play a key role in procuring and Tendering for projects.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide support for a variety of sourcing activities within the team.

  • Support the procurement function with contract drafting negotiation and execution.

  • Ensure team governance activities are managed through ongoing management and oversight of contract trackers, initiative logs and all applicable databases.

  • Drive cost optimisation and value-added benefits in supplier relationships related to claims procurement.

  • Manage supply risks within the parameters of the Procurement Governance framework.

  • Assist in the delivery of reporting and management information requests for the category.

  • Conduct market analysis, negotiations, and contracting activities aligned with the team’s strategic objectives.

  • Serve as a reliable and trusted interface between the organisation and claims suppliers.

  • Support the sourcing process on specific initiatives within the category, including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), due diligence and governance.

  • Identify opportunities to optimise costs and increase value across various sub-categories, considering internal requirements and broader macro-economic/marketing trends.

  • Assist and support Group Global procurement projects as required.

  • Demonstrate active delivery of OSEP Energy People Attributes: Entrepreneurship, Trust, Customer and Market Excellence, and Collaborative Leadership. Embrace the Procurement proposition ("value for money," "peace of mind," and "speed to market") across the organization.


Requirements



  • Interested candidates should possess an HND or B.Sc Degree with at least 3 years experience.

  • Must have good knowledge of Microsoft excel

  • Must be able to generate P&L Spread sheet and monitor projects.

  • Must be able to get prices and deliver on RFOs on very short nice and meet up deadlines.

  • Must have knowledge in the Oil and Gas industry.
