Job Summary

• You will be tasked with overseeing the end-to-end aggregation process for agricultural commodities and developing and implementing strategies for the sourcing and aggregation of high-quality commodities from trusted suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Streamline and optimize logistics operations across the entire supply chain and coordinate with shipping lines, logistics partners, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth export processes.


• Negotiate terms and rates with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines, and assess their performance and services.


• Acquiring commodity trader customers based in Europe, Middle East, Asia and identifying and developing financing opportunities in line with the department’s targets


• Develop frameworks for specific value chains, such as Sesame, cashew, hibiscus, cocoa, ginger, etc to support business expansion.


• Keep up to date with agro-commodity trends, regulations, and market conditions to ensure competitiveness and compliance with relevant laws and policies.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.


• Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in agro commodities trading, logistics, and exportation.


• Demonstrate excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.


• A solid understanding of agro-commodity quality specifications and checks is an added advantage.
