As a Solar Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing solar power projects, with a specific focus on high-end Chinese inverters such as Deye, among others.
This role offers the flexibility of remote work, with occasional reporting to our office as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the project management team to develop comprehensive solar power project plans, considering client requirements, site conditions, and technical specifications.
Conduct detailed site assessments and feasibility studies, evaluating factors like sun exposure, shading, and grid connection possibilities.
Design and engineer solar photovoltaic systems, including selecting appropriate components, sizing inverters, and optimizing system layout.
Expertise in working with high-end Chinese inverters, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization.
Provide technical support during project implementation, overseeing installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed.
Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
Generate detailed project documentation, including engineering drawings, technical reports, and as-built documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, procurement, and project management, to ensure project success.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
2 - 5 years of experience as a Solar project Engineer
A strong grasp of photovoltaic systems, thermal power technology
Good knowledge of project documentation, engineering drawings, technical reports, and as-built documentation.
