• Are you a seasoned Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Lawyer ready for your next challenge? Look no further! We’re on the hunt for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior GRC Lawyer.

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or JD) from an accredited institution and active bar membership. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.


• Minimum of 11 years of experience as a Governance, Risk, and Compliance lawyer. Preferably within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.


• Strong knowledge of Nigerian corporate law, commercial transactions, and regulatory frameworks.


• Demonstrated experience in compliance, risk management, or governance.


• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.


• Strong time and project management abilities.


• Commercial astuteness with a keen understanding of current affairs and developments in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).


• Effective communication and presentation skills.


• Proficiency in Legal Opinion/Document Development.


• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.


• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to solve complex problems.


• Negotiation and business development skills.


• Awareness or interest in new technologies and some level of use or adoption.


• Strong ethics, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
