DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  •  Manage monthly financial forecast to ensure it reasonably predicts business performance

  • Manage and coordinate annual budgets and business plans

  • Oversee monthly budget performance reviews sessions with departmental heads to ensure financial targets are being achieved

  • Develop and maintain the company’s short-term and long-term financial model to predict business outcomes

  • Liaising with financial institutions and Money deposit banks

  • Preparing Liquidity & Credit Analysis

  • Merger and Synergy Analysis

  • Shareholder Returns Analysis

  • Advise on how to meet targets and create investment capital

  • Provide investment advice, tactics, and recommendations

  • Owning and developing the (short-term and long-term) business model, and acting to deliver continuous improvement in its effectiveness

  • Owning and developing company budget process, and acting to deliver continuous improvement in the implementation

  • Leading all aspects of business performance including crafting and implementing the monthly and annual balanced scorecard and objectives.

  • Aligning and “connecting the dots” across the departments to ensure an integrated and holistic performance plan.

  • Tracking, managing, and communicating the monthly/annual business plan and objectives including delivery and risk, resource utilization, and budget.

  • Providing business performance data and insights to support timely and effective decision-making by the Executives and the Board.

  • Leading the monthly “business performance review” across all units

  • Building relationships at the unit head level, to appropriately drive focus and priorities on the right things for business success.


SKILLS:



  • Relevant finance tools and systems

  • Financial budgeting and statistical modelling techniques

  • Strong financial/Business modelling

  • Identifying risks and in implementing controls

  • Specifically BI/BPC or ERP equivalent

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel

  •  Minimum of 10 years’ corporate finance experience.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:



  • BSc/HND//MBA/MPA/MSc/MA/PGD/ +Membership of relevant professional Institutes like ICAN, ACCA etc.
